C++ Software Engineer/Trading Systems

C++ Developer (Back Office related)

Programming Languages:

Must have at least 5 years of C++ development experience.

Must have general experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python, and Unix Shells).

Must be proficient in a Unix or Linux environment.

Must have experience in Database (Oracle/Sybase) systems development and SQL.

Server side development experience and communications middleware experience (Tibco, MQ, and Sockets).

Major Considerations:

Quantitative aptitude (experience in computations for Financial Instruments – especially Fixed Income and OTC products).

Experience in the modeling of Financing Transactions (Repo and Stock Lending).

Experience in Operations, and Transaction and Position Management for Financial Trading Firms.

Experience in Accounting for Financial Trading Firms.

Experience in event driven or real-time environment.

Windows development experience.
