<p> Responsibilities:</p>
<p>• Lead financial planning activities and support product investment decisions for core operating divisions, which comprise all the major cost functions involved in the development, production and fulfillment of new and existing products.</p>
<p>• Create and maintain detailed Excel-based business cases / financial models to support accurate and timely monthly forecasts, semi-annual budgeting and long-term financial projections; these models are essential tools for effective decision-making regarding the Company’s strategic direction and capital investment.</p>
<p>• Communicate extensively with key personnel and build relationships across various business units that facilitate results.</p>
<p>• Improve the accuracy and timeliness of the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes with new tools, resources, and process changes.</p>
<p>• Develop a robust understanding company products, its markets and its internal organization in order to be able to quickly detect issues and communicate them effectively to senior management.</p>
<p>• Assist in communicating to senior management, both verbally and through detailed presentation documents, the company’s short and long-term investment outlook, as well as any other business cases or issues that may arise.</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<p>• BA/BS/BBA degree required, Finance majors preferred (but will consider other quantitative/analytical academic backgrounds).</p>
<p>• MBA degree desired but not required.</p>
<p>• 8-12 years of relevant Finance experience.</p>
<p>• Experience with monthly and quarterly corporate forecasting and financial reporting.</p>
<p>• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.</p>
<p>• Experience with Budgeting and Planning systems preferred, especially Hyperion.</p>
<p>• Detail-focused, highly analytical orientation. Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise explanations.</p>
<p>• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve problems.</p>
<p>• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.</p>
<p>• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.</p>

<p>EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:</p>
<p>2 &#8211; 7 years experience performing financial/operational audits</p>
<p>BA/BS or equivalent required </p>
<p>Certification in process or completed</p>
<p>WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office and 25% to 30% travel </p>
<p>CORE JOB DUTIES/SCOPE:</p>
<p>The auditor participates in projects as directed. Demonstrates proficiency in basic audit skills – executing and documenting work in accordance with policy –with limited guidance. Demonstrates knowledge of fundamentals across multiple businesses and aptitude for continued growth in business knowledge. The Auditor position may demonstrate aptitude for leading projects by leading small assignments.</p>
<p>BUSINESS/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:</p>
<p>Demonstrates a broad base of technology audit expertise across multiple businesses. Leverage growing audit skills and business knowledge to quickly learn new information.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client, a leading software firm in Chicago, is looking for someone to audit customer server based applications and ensure those customers are in compliance with the financial and non-financial terms of their licensing contracts.  This is a high-visibility/high impact role with a cutting edge company, and a dynamic opportunity to work with multiple internal business units and external customers.<strong></strong></p>
<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>
<p>Identification of audit candidates; initial contact of customers and discussion of audit process to initiate audits; interacting with customers to coordinate the details of license compliance audits; reviewing customer license agreements and reporting history; performing audits of server based software applications at customer locations; opportunity to analyze sensitive customer information; preparing written reports of findings; communicating audit results; participating in customer calls and assisting in the negotiation of settlements to resolve non-compliance findings; and generating business and contract improvement ideas.  Other opportunities will include documenting department procedures, processes and standard templates, performing audit candidate risk assessments and other duties</p>
<p>REQUIREMENTS:</p>
<p>•           Bachelor’s degree in business related field</p>
<p>•           3-6 years accounting and/or finance experience</p>
<p>•           BIG 4 and/or Fortune 500 experience w/forensic accounting investigations experience preferred</p>
<p>•           Experience performing audits of or ensuring compliance with server based software applications is required</p>
<p>•           Strong understanding of information technology concepts</p>
<p>•           Ability to identify control weaknesses and resultant impacts</p>
<p>•           Experience in contracts, royalties and/or licensing is desired</p>
<p>•           Broad business exposure within financial, operational and compliance areas.</p>
<p>•           Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both written and verbal) skills</p>
<p>•           Strong project management capabilities</p>
<p>•           Self starting with excellent organizational skills</p>
<p>•           Certification in at least one area (e.g., CPA, CIA, CLP, CISA, CMA, CFE, CIRM, etc.) is desired</p>
<p>•           Working knowledge of MS Office Suite is required</p>
<p>•           Familiarity with IDEA data analysis software a plus</p>
<p>•           Audit related tools and techniques are a plus</p>
<p>•           Foreign language abilities and international business experience are a plus</p>
