The service transition manager champions the advancement of all Service Transition processes, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Release and Deployment Management and other Service Transition processes. This role is accountable for all Service Transition processes, and coordinates directly with each Service Transition process team to review proposed process, policy, measurement and implementation activities.

This position will operate at a Director level responsible for servicing the financial reporting needs of the senior leadership team. This is a large DW, BI env with over 100+ apps leveraging Oracle, UNIX, PL/SQL, Informatica, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Hyperion, Maximis, etc. These tools are used to develop and support sophisticated apps that are used for decision support amongst the business units.

Individual contributor ensuring the release of high quality software and systems through the management of quality assurance (QA) testing projects. Provides technical consultative assistance to management and technology process owners with respect to the development and implementation of quality IT systems and software, provides guidance to others informally, and formally leads project teams on a short-term basis.
