<li>Overall planning and management of Service Transition delivery including Continual Service Improvement</li>
<li>Managing and coordinating the Service Transition functions</li>

Candidate will function as an individual contributor &amp; must have strong financial reporting b/g with an ability to create a high-level design and then project manage resources to execute the build and support the apps. The candidate will need experience managing and executing on projects leveraging out sourced and off shore resources.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Analyze customer needs and business requirements &#8212; assessing data from multiple sources including product requirements, tech constraints, UX research, Web analytics, etc. &#8212; in order to develop and validate product design alternatives.</li>
<li>Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Product Marketing and customers to create wireframes, task flows, storyboards and prototypes that serve as the blueprint for Product Development efforts.</li>
<li>Conduct/coordinate usability testing</li>
<li>Lead the development of best practices and standards regarding user interface and interaction design, usability, and information architecture.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Experience Required:</h2>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Design, Cognitive Psychology or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.</li>
<li>7+ years experience in one or more of the following: Human Factors Engineering, Interaction Design, Information Architecture (IA) or Usability Engineering in the development of large-scale dynamic websites</li>
<li>Expert level knowledge of user interface &amp; information design principles, and Interaction Design &amp; Usability testing methodologies</li>
<li>Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Visio, Dreamweaver, Axure RP, Balsamiq Mockups, Protoshare, etc.</li>

<li>Must have the ability to communicate effectively to multiple stakeholder groups including engineering, marketing, operations, and Senior Management.</li>
<li>Model and render documented UI functional specifications from wire-frame, testing, business presentations, as well as clear communication of functionality to development teams.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Currently looking for multiple Java Software Engineers for a client in downtown Chicago.  Roles range from software engineers with 3 years experience to architects with 10+ years experience.  The information below is a general description of the development environment and all the skills are not required for all the roles available.</p>
<p>The candidate will be involved in the development of distributed solutions for our largest revenue generating group. These solutions include both a web-based user interface as well as nightly and intraday batch processing components. These applications are internal as well as external facing and enable our client base to search, view and edit transactions and execute ad-hoc reports. The candidate will be involved in enhancing existing applications as well as participating in new development. It is required that this candidate have an exceptional grasp of object oriented concepts, web technologies, be proficient in altering Oracle tables, writing optimized SQL and have experience with frameworks such as Spring.</p>
<p>Candidate needs to be self-motivated and be able to plan and execute based on imposed deadlines. The candidate is expected to participate in system analysis, design, implementation, documentation, and testing in support of the group’s goals and initiatives. The candidate must have exceptional interpersonal communications skills, be able to provide technical guidance and encourage/support a collaborative approach to development. They will also be required, to take ownership of, responsibility for and provide support on assigned applications.</p>
<h2>Qualifications:</h2>
<ul>
<li> Java development experience in OO and distributed environments.</li>
<li>Development experience with web technologies (e.g. Struts, Spring MVC, JSP, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, SiteMesh)</li>
<li>Experience with SQL and Relational databases (e.g. Oracle). This includes having in depth experience of complex multi-table structures. Must be able to performance tune queries to run efficiently.</li>
<li>Linux/Unix.</li>
<li>Database design and DDL manipulation (Oracle).</li>
<li>Frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC and Struts.</li>
<li>Tomcat or other Java Application Servers.</li>
