<h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership to the EDW team – 5 onshore employees and 7 offshore contractors</li>
<li>Understand what metrics are important to our business</li>
<li>Understand business needs and create a data architecture / model vision</li>
<li>Partner with the business and provide clear visibility to the team in terms of project priorities</li>
<li>Execute and deliver on projects – dates, business benefits, costs</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other equivalent or related field. Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred</li>
<li>8-10 years of experience in IT with emphasis in EDW</li>
<li>Practical knowledge of EDW, specifically Business Objects</li>
<li>Experience in resource (people and capital) management, capacity planning, organizing and planning projects.</li>

<li>Be responsible for capacity planning including procurement of space segment resources.</li>
<li>Be responsible for procurement of all antennas and terminal equipment to be installed</li>
<li>Be responsible for the design, procurement/lease and performance of the hub gateway facilities.</li>
<li>Manage a team of technical staff to support the above.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>BSEE or equivalent degree</li>
<li>Experience in the Satellite/RF Engineering field with a leadership role in product or service development</li>
<li>Experience developing technical specifications, test plans and procedures, and service level agreements</li>
<li>Experience in leading a team of engineers with responsibilities for vendor management, contracts, cost, schedule, processes and technology development</li>

<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES:</h2>

<li>Collaborates with Product Management and development team to ensure testable user stories are created and estimated</li>
<li>Works with Product Management in determining acceptance criteria for user stories</li>
<li>Recommends test approach, test environment requirements and data strategies</li>
<li>Executing a testing process that fits within our Agile development life cycle</li>
<li>Works closely with development team to identify and resolve issues</li>
<li>Analyze, design and maintain test artifacts</li>
<li>Create and/or set up test environments and test data</li>
<li>Develop and execute automated and manual tests</li>
</ul>
<h2>REQUIREMENTS:</h2>

<li>BS in a technical discipline or</li>
<li>5+ years of test engineering experience</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of test methodologies and debugging</li>
<li>3 years of development and/or test automation experience</li>
<li>Excellent coding skills in C, C++, Java or Python with scripting skills in at least one common language (Perl, Python or Shell)</li>
