<p>This High-Tech, Global leader seeks a Technical Service Director responsible for the end-to-end technology operations management for a high volume transaction processing 24x7x365 environment that services customers globally including feeds and applications, as well as data collection network gathering information provided to premier clients and partners. The role directs, plans, supports, and manages application and hosting services and is the primary interface between the delivery functions, R&amp;D, and business organizations. This includes management of Linux and Microsoft System Administrators responsible for server operations in a production, development and test environment. The position is also responsible for monitoring and reporting on delivered services including customer satisfaction, business relationship management, and proactive improvement of the levels of service delivered. The position will ensure that the operations services meet the requirements of the business, premier clients, consumers, and partners at all times, spanning the entire product lifecycle.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>• Primary point of contact with business, product, technical operations, and R&amp;D teams to assure smooth transition from high-level design, through product development or system/service modification, including development of support and escalation models, and service levels.</p>
<p>• Directs the development, maintenance, and documentation of operational infrastructure components, applications, platforms, and/or externally-provided technology solutions.</p>
<p>• Evaluates proposed system or service modifications to ascertain impact on existing processes or systems. Ensures evaluation and testing of changes to guarantee uninterrupted service.</p>

<p>The purpose of this work unit is to direct the Product Management activities and team for several technology areas and products to support organization’s push into Broadband for the global market place. These include, Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless infrastructure technology, Multi-media applications over LTE networks. This position is responsible for directing and controls activities of two or more functional areas through several department managers including external suppliers, development, etc.  The incumbent will be directly Involved in strategic growth of the broadband device business. In addition, is responsible for developing and working with the Broadband Product Team to define critical features that are required to meet the priorities and expectation of the markets.</p>
<p>The Director Product Management for Devices and Solutions is responsible for driving a successful launch campaign for the  organization’s push into Wireless Broadband markets within North America. In this role, the position is responsible for developing market requirements and strategies to build devices business within our existing market. The position will help optimize the financial performance of the Broadband Solutions business, drive an integrated roadmap across the various regions including working with and through the product management teams in addition to collaborating with other teams to develop and deliver the device portfolio and solutions required of our customers.</p>

Candidate should have worked in a product management, business development or within a sales organization or other business management positions either within Networks or Mobile Devices.</p>
