Clarity Functional Lead

The Clarity Functional Lead will be responsible for playing a critical role in the companies effort to maintain our global integrated program management practice and to deploy operational reporting infrastructure. The Functional Lead will work closely with global users to build, implement, and prototype solutions. This will include configuring Clarity, Business Objects / InfoView Reporting / Universes, implementing work flow processes, and converting / XOG’ing existing data. The position requires combined project management expertise, deep Clarity product expertise, and strong technical aptitude.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the companies objective to implement Clarity and Business Objects / InfoView across our global operations. Support the team’s ongoing efforts:

  • Drive the definition, establishment and acceptance of best practices and common processes.
  • Define, manage, and implement Clarity and other metrics systems across global teams.
  • Work closely with internal groups to identify key requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and prototype custom InfoView Reports and Universes, queries, reports, portlets, and support systems based on user requirements and needs.
  • Work closely with the Global Metrics & Systems team to manage key deliverables, deployment schedules, and requirements.

Support the companies objective to measure operations efforts. Support the team’s ongoing efforts:

  • Drive definition and creation of metrics to identify critical issues impacting operations and strategy
  • Create and articulate solutions to undertake key metrics initiatives
  • Develop solutions for different divisions and groups, leading to productivity and process improvements for the entire organization

Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA required, Computer Science, Finance, Economics degree strongly desired
  • 8+ years of professional experience required
  • Experience deploying and configuring Clarity – experience with creation of Custom Objects, Processes is strongly desired
  • Strong technical background on Business Objects/InfoView, XOG, GEL Scripting, Oracle, Web Applications, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to form and maintain relationships with internal customers and resources
  • Very limited international travel may be requested
