Director, Human Resources

Location: Jasper, Indiana

A Fortune 500 Company is seeking a Director of Human Resources for its main business unit.

Responsibility for this position consists of supporting four (4) distribution centers and three (3) manufacturing sites.  The Director will be responsible for a team of HR professionals which will include seven (7) direct reports [HR Managers] as well as additional personnel located in the various locations.  The HR team will be engaged in providing both strategic as well as operational support to these locations and will own ALL associated HR activities for these sites.  The Director will be tasked with collaborating and advising senior leadership on strategic planning in the areas of organization optimization, talent management, compensation, and positive employee relations. The HR team owns ALL HR functions for these sites.

The successful candidate will become a trusted partner with Operations leaders.  This role will partner with business leaders and associates to deliver HR services in a proactive and solution oriented manner aligned with business strategy.  This position acts as a strategic advisor, service manager and business catalyst.

To qualify for this role, the candidate will need to have the following:

  1. Distribution or Manufacturing experience
  2. Experience supporting multi-site locations
  3. Development and execution of HR strategy experience
  4. Experience with the management and development of teams located in various locations
  5. Ability to partner with senior leadership
  6. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus

This position reports directly to the VP HR Field Operations.
