Dir Product Management (Social Media On-Line Community)
Position Summary – This position will be responsible for formulation & execution of company’s On-Line community strategy including guiding the vision for the tools and technology that will enable content community programs to provide new and updated information to company’s products & services. This position will be responsible for strategy through implementation across both product marketing and product management disciplines globally.
Responsibilities:
Developing online communities including customers and consumers to
develop richer feedback on products/services. Build community presence across multiple user segments and media forums. Develop strategy to target and implement, and develop online communities to full business needs. Engage with enthusiasts to drive product innovations and new product ideas.
Requirements: Bachelors of Science degree (Business, Computer Science); MBA preferred. 10+ years of extensive experience launching successful products as measured by market impact metrics. 7 - 10+ years of proven ability to communicate product requirements to development groups to fulfill market needs. Proven experience building online communities with measureable results. Exceptional leadership and cross-business unit collaboration skills Results driven – strong written and oral communication skills.
Enthusiasm for community and conviction for execution. Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple areas of responsibilities. Experience communicating analysis and recommendations to senior management. Creating online experience that aggregates information; will consider experience in advertising/barter such as:
