<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li>Explain designs and mentor team members on how to best support new systems.</li>
<li>Evaluate and select tools and technologies needed for efficient support of the systems.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are properly tested, configured, and deployed.</li>
<li>Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects.</li>
<li>Adapt configuration management tools for the needs of the Operations teams.</li>
<li>Create and execute test plans, and analyze and report results.</li>
<li>Interact with customers/users to support software acceptance process and act as a liaison between development and users; investigate and report problems.</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.</li>
<li>5+ years of relevant working experience.</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of Informatica administration and support.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Oracle/AquaLogic Service Bus and WebLogic a plus.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Hadoop a plus.</li>
<li>Proficient in UNIX, Linux, Windows operating systems.</li>
<li>Proficient in programming and/or shell scripting (e.g. Java, perl, ksh, ant)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of JBoss Application Server and Tomcat.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and UNIX (Solaris 10).</li>
<li>Familiarity with Oracle 10g/11g, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.</li>

<h2>SUMMARY:</h2>
<p>This Manager will build and execute a comprehensive strategy for global <strong>operations capacity and demand management</strong> for this business vertical.  This role reports to the Director of Program Management Office, and will build alignment and capabilities around global planning and process efficiencies pertaining to overall 3-4,000 resources; working with key business vertical stakeholders as well as senior management, product management, business vertical operations, software development, Finance, HR, and other groups.</p>
<h2>DELIVERABLES:</h2>
<p>Will lead the development and implementation of a centralized, consistent, coordinated ability to manage resources spread across the operations regions, multiple production facilities and outsourced resources.</p>
<ul>
<li>Tasked with leading the development of a comprehensive strategy for global operations capacity and demand management for the business vertical.</li>
<li>Provide high level global operations view and transparency of Capacity and Demand, systematic issues and action plan to resolve.</li>
<li>Will provide predictive analysis of issues, drive to create a predictable operating environment to support risk mitigation.</li>
<li>Will assist regional and production planning groups for scenario analysis, work through issues across groups. Drive operations issues between groups to resolution.</li>
<li>Lead the development of relevant global capacity and planning information, metrics and reporting.</li>
<li>Will lead the development, implementation and manage a prioritized plan for improvements and best practices for regional and global planning process, tools, metrics and reporting through the business vertical and operations leadership team.</li>
<li>Will lead and manage the coordination and support for regional planning and scheduling groups/teams.</li>
<li>Lead and manage communication effort to provide transparency upfront of impacts to plan, dependencies and forecasts of risk from upstream activities to improve planning for the operations planning groups.</li>
<li>Tasked to lead and manage effort to provide long range operational forecasting; planning and support for forward planning; forecasting project mix scenario analysis/value maximizing/optimization.</li>
</ul>
<h2>BACKGROUND:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required, preferred disciplines; Computer Science, Engineering and there is a strong perference for an advanced degree.</li>
<li>Ten years plus previous related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li>
<li>Five years plus experience in operations management with short/long range planning and complex data models with proven ability to access and manage complex global scenarios.</li>
<li>In-depth experience in Master Scheduling or Production Planning in a global multi-plant environment desired. Experience in Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology experience.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with logistics and basic planning components such as demand management, capacity requirements planning, forecasting, operations planning, master scheduling, material requirements planning, performance measurements, and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Solid business acumen in decision making and demonstrated experience working with senior leadership to form creative solutions and effectively implement.</li>
<li>Possess a track record of leading cross-functional business leadership at executive and operational line management levels to achieve challenging objectives across various organizations. Experience in a multi-cultural environment desired.</li>
<li>Deep experience with analytical data modeling, solver, pivot tables and ability to evaluate multiple alternatives to yield the best decision (Regression Analysis, Statistical Analysis).</li>

<p>Responsible for architectural ownership providing overall vision, leadership and direction of an entire platform.  Provide high level analysis and guides other groups within the department. Provide mentorship and career development for subordinate employees.  Lead full cycle architecture across all domains through the Software Development Life Cycle process.</p>

<p><strong> </strong><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or another hard science or engineering degree</li>
<li>MBA/MSc/PhD preferred</li>
<li>Advanced degree in Mathematics ideal</li>
<li>15+ years relevant work experience with 3+ years as a Lead Architect or relevant work experience</li>
<li>Architect Level Certification Preferred</li>
<li>Ability to prototype a system end-to-end</li>
<li>Ability to lead R&amp;D specification, requirements, development and test teams to converge on a single architecture for a single architecture domain</li>
<li>Knowledge of all existing standards for a single architecture domain<strong></strong></li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Expert in all architectural domains and how design choices impact the architecture up and downstream as well as across architectural domains</li>
<li>Successfully completes panel interview with Internal Architecture Group (all domains)</li>

<p>Manager of Architecture will be responsible for managing and leading a team of architects in data, reporting and ETL architecture that supports both OLTP and BI/Data Warehouse systems.  The individual must have strong management experience, ability to work with business and IT organizations and offer technical leadership that can ensure successful technical project execution and delivery.</p>
<p> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage team of 12+ technical architecture resources to deliver technical design and solutions for OLTP and BI/DW system.</li>
<li>Lead and facilitate in defining new technology roadmap, frameworks and solutions.</li>
<li>Lead and facilitate cross organizational alignment in technology solution and delivery.</li>
<li>Work effectively with both business and IT stakeholders.</li>
<li>Manage and support vendor relationships.  Both technology vendors and staffing vendors.</li>
<li>Identify and present new technologies that will benefit new or existing initiatives.</li>
<li>Manage resource skill sets and capacity planning.</li>
<li>Support budget planning and forecasting process.</li>
<li>Provide mentoring and skill development of individual team member.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Requirements, Skills, Experience, Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 10 years in technical experience in delivering large scale OLTP and BI/DW systems.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 years in technical architecture experience, especially in data architecture.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years in technical project management experience.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years in Reporting and ETL architecture experience.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years in designing systems that provides High Availability and Disaster Recovery capability.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in OLTP and OLAP data model design.</li>
<li>Experience and good understanding in SOA architecture.</li>
<li>Strong experience in data warehousing, analytic reporting and ETL architecture.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating information requirements of multiple projects, including assessment of usefulness, reliability and cleanliness of data from several sources.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and to senior decision-makers.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle database 10g or 11g.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter and Pentaho.</li>
<li>Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) is a plus.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Hadoop, HBase, Pig, HIVE, Sqoop.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of SQL.  Knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL and XQuery is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience in modeling with XML Types, XML DB, non-traditional database (non-RDBMS), like HBase, eXist, Hypertable is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong SDLC knowledge, with excellent process and system documentation skills.</li>
<li>Strong ability to identify risks and issues and escalate to project management.  Ability to provide risk mitigation and issue resolution recommendations.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of Data Management and Metadata Management process and principles, with ability to effectively communicate and sell those ideas to others.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment, working with business and technology.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills required; technical and business writing skills are required.</li>
<li>Experience with database performance tuning and code review is a plus.</li>
<li>BS degree in computer science or related technical field is required.</li>
