Java Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop the systems and technologies supporting product offerings, internal and back office systems.

• Support the development of new major functionality and implement the next generation of services offered by in coordination with Product Development, Customer Service, Marketing, Network Operations and Engineering teams.

• Creation of technical documentation for projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum experience

• Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE software development.

• Experience with Internet technologies for real-time transaction based systems and online billing systems.

• Hands-on experience with Web architecture design.

• Experience developing Web Services and associated technologies (WSDLs, SOAP).

• Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.

• Willing and able to get down in the details “to make things happen”.

• 5+ Years Experience developing n-tier Internet applications using Java/J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlet) .

• Experience with current Web and Web 2.0 technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML and XSLT.

• Strong understanding of Linux/Microsoft environments.

• Operations architecture and/or security architecture knowledge highly desirable.

• Significant experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server database platforms.

• ESB development experience (preferably Tibco).

• The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a variety of development tools and be able to adapt quickly to new technologies, platforms and priorities
