Lead VoIP Network Engineer (Cisco)

 

  • Provide overall vision and direction for telco and related network services.
  • Plan, design, install, document and administrate telecommunication and network systems. 
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures relative to the Enterprise VOIP environment as lead technical troubleshooter on complex voice network problems. This includes managing and  working with equipment vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain VOIP network health monitoring and notification tools
  • Maintain telecommunication and data circuits/vendors (PRIs, T1, Private Lines, POTS, etc.)
  • Maintain network hardware including ongoing software/firmware patches or upgrades.  Conduct bandwidth analysis related to VOIP infrastructure

Experience

  • Comprehensive experience with CISCO VOIP implementation and administration including  CISCO IPCC call center
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing CISCO equipment including: routers, ASA/PIX firewalls, switches
  • Experience with advanced routing protocol experience including BGP, EIGRP, etc.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
