Linux Performance Engineer

Job Description:

The individual in this role will work closely with traders on designing and developing systems and software in order to maximize performance of trading strategies. 

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience, advanced knowledge of networking, operating systems, multi-threaded programming.
• Expert knowledge of linux and windows performance issues (if only one, prefer linux then)
• Expert knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with low level messaging middleware is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
• Financial industry experience is not required
