Operations Project Leader

Responsibilities:

Project lead role in ensuring Platform Operations achieve required service level agreements both internally and externally.
Develop, implement and manage the Operations Tiered Support Model.
Project lead role in establishing operational quality controls.
Platform releases from test status to operational / production status.
Operational issues and status with other operational group leads including overall system optimization, content throughput, troubleshooting and recommend solutions and improvements.
Project lead role in ensuring operational policies and procedures are maintained that relate to the setup and maintenance of the infrastructure, including updates, patches, backup and disaster recovery.
Project lead role in working with cross functional groups including R&D, Tech Ops and others to ensure functional and user requirements are met.

Requirements:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Operational Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.
5+ years in project leadership experience
3+ years experience with real-time, high-availability web systems
3+ years experience with online transaction processing
5+ years experience with large systems operations
Experience with network infrastructure operations, including operating systems (Unix and Windows), disaster recovery, high availability, security, and database concepts
Excellent skills in forming working teams for short to mid-term projects
Must be able to work with minimal supervision to provide the necessary support for technology problems/questions
Excellent skills in documenting operational procedures
Experienced with data warehousing
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experienced with working in a 24/7 operation
Excellent skills in project management, scheduling, performance tracking, and team budget management
Experienced with working within ISO Guidelines Standards a plus
