  PRODUCT LINE MANAGER-ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE

 

Our client, a division of a privately held $700 million corporation, is a leading provider of network solutions and electrical products for enterprise applications on a global basis.

Our client is changing the definition of Physical Layer Management and broadening the scope to include Physical, Environmental, and Power Access Management.  This individual will join an expanding business unit as a Product Line Manager reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering for Network Technology.

 

This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a global business plan/strategy and roadmap for the new product line, providing innovative software solutions for new global customers as well as leveraging existing clientele.  Key deliverables will include driving the new product launch, developing strategy and collateral for the sales and marketing organization, and working with engineering to develop new product line components.

 

Knowledge and Skills should consist of:

 

 
  • Five plus years of Product Management experience in enterprise software applications.
  • Absolutely must have a track record of managing at least one new product launch.
  • Network applications knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Excellent leadership skills in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Previous experience in software product development engineering required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree required, MBA desired.

 

This position involves an entrepreneurial management style and a good balance of business sense and technical knowledge to effectively and creatively drive customer solutions.  Occasional international and domestic travel will be needed to succeed.
