Regional Sales Manager

Location:  Seattle, WA

Responsibility

  • Candidate will support the Northwest region of the US to include Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, etc.  Candidate can live anywhere within the region
  • Works with the Area Vice President (AVP) to develop market sales strategies, leveraging the entire portfolio.
  • Aligns resources with strategy.
  • Creates a team atmosphere where team members work together in pursuit of a common mission; encourages open communication, establishes positive outlook, and nurtures commitment to the mission.
  • Manages execution of strategic sales plans, including prioritization of activities.
  • Manages execution of strategy through external sales rep agency relationships.
  • Develops and maintains positive customer relationships.
  • Communicates with other COMPANY sales team members and channel partners to effectively manage activities in common markets.
  • Works with Dealer Sales & Operations Manager to develop accurate sales forecasts and meet or exceed those forecasts.
  • Supports Product, Brand, and Channel Marketing Teams in strategic planning and program execution.
  • Travels extensively, as business needs require to cover the needs of the assigned territory.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Experience & Education

  • High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required
  • 4-year degree in a business or related field is highly preferred
  • 5-8+ years of experience in Sales with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
  • Demonstrated record of strategic sales planning and profitable market growth
  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills
  • Experience managing Channel Sales; Dealer-specific sales management preferred
