MUST HAVE:  Visual C++, MFC, Real-time embedded software development experience.

POSITION PURPOSE: 

This individual will be part of a core development group that is responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable, multi-tiered trading applications and infrastructure.  This hand on role will work with traders and developers to design and build real-time trading applications and tools

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Design, develop, and support real-time windows trading applications
• Design, develop, and support UI tools for configuration management, risk management, and application monitoring
• Gather and document user requirements/features
• Define unit and acceptance tests for applications
• Stay abreast of advances in technology

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

•  Strong communication and leadership skills
• Computer programming skills using C++ in a Windows environment
• Working knowledge of TCP protocol and pub/sub middleware
• Experience with Multithreaded programming
•  Experience with MFC a plus
• Experience with exchange connectivity a plus
•  Analytical and problem solving skills
•  Knowledge of operating systems and networks
• Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or its equivalent.
• At least five years hands-on development experience
