C++ Software Engineer -Trading Systems (Chicago)

LOCATION: Chicago IL

C++ Developer (Back Office related)

Programming Languages:

  • Must have at least 5 years of C++ development experience.
  • Must have general experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python, and Unix Shells).
  • Must be proficient in a Unix or Linux environment.
  • Must have experience in Database (Oracle/Sybase) systems development and SQL.
  • Server side development experience and communications middleware experience (Tibco, MQ, and Sockets).

Major Considerations:

  • Quantitative aptitude (experience in computations for Financial Instruments – especially Fixed Income and OTC products).
  • Experience in the modeling of Financing Transactions (Repo and Stock Lending).
  • Experience in Operations, and Transaction and Position Management for Financial Trading Firms.
  • Experience in Accounting for Financial Trading Firms.
  • Experience in event driven or real-time environment.
  • Windows development experience.
