Technical Project Lead
Subject Matter Expert in the production support of high availability, multi-site, environment.
- Lead and participate in the definition, planning, testing, deployment, and ongoing technical support of the client’s customer-facing Dynamic Content Management Platform.
- Define, implement and support the 24×7×365 multi-tiered application technology and infrastructure, and disaster recovery capabilities. Take charge of support systems and content health monitoring, capacity alerts, automated emergency response and technical troubleshooting.
- Project Lead and technical expert for platform technology and infrastructure support; provide and fulfill 24×7×365 SLAs both internally and externally.
- Serve as the technical expert in multi-site, high-performance, high-availability platforms
- Test, deploy, optimize and manage the technology platform and associated systems
- Execute upgrade release governance from requirements through user test, performance tests and low-impact deployment to production
- Technical responsibility for overall system performance optimization, content throughput, system health troubleshooting and recommendation of upgrades and improvements.
- Manage regular user acceptance tests production operations, simulations, and knowledge transfer of upgrades to the Operations Group during deployments
- Lead cross-functional efforts for platform improvement with Research & Development for architecture / requirements / design upgrades.
Requirements:
- Extensive technical project leadership experience
- Broad experience with real-time, high-availability systems (required)
- In-depth experience with high performance, large systems operations
- Experience with on-line (Web-based) transaction processing
- Experienced with data warehousing, web services, cloud computing, modern IS infrastructures desired
- Experience with performance tuning, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, security, and multi-site operations desired
- Skilled in building working teams for short to mid-term projects
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide the necessary support to resolve system problems/questions
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Systems Engineering
