TRADE SUPPORT ANALYST

Support proprietary traders in the client’s Global HQ

  • Perform active monitoring and respond to alerts within technology environment; escalate issues to appropriate IT staff if necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with traders and other IT staff to implement new tools and strategies.
  • Manage proprietary applications.
  • Test new releases of software and deploy to production.
  • Optimize system uptime through monitoring, use of change management procedures and immediate response to any outage.
  • Manage incidents including incident resolution process and client communications.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve firm goals.
  • Provide off-hours and remote support when necessary.

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to write and maintain scripts written in Bash and Perl.
  • Basic knowledge of IP network troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills.
  • Proven customer focus is essential.
  • Self motivated and team focused.
