TRADE SUPPORT ANALYST
Support proprietary traders in the client’s Global HQ
- Perform active monitoring and respond to alerts within technology environment; escalate issues to appropriate IT staff if necessary.
- Work collaboratively with traders and other IT staff to implement new tools and strategies.
- Manage proprietary applications.
- Test new releases of software and deploy to production.
- Optimize system uptime through monitoring, use of change management procedures and immediate response to any outage.
- Manage incidents including incident resolution process and client communications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve firm goals.
- Provide off-hours and remote support when necessary.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ability to write and maintain scripts written in Bash and Perl.
- Basic knowledge of IP network troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills.
- Proven customer focus is essential.
- Self motivated and team focused.
