Trade Support Engineer (Windows)

 

  • Provide ad-hoc support, execute short-duration assignments, and long-term projects in a high volume trading environment.
  • Provide technical support; administrate end-user software and  hardware.
  • Identify, diagnose, research, track and resolve technical problems.
  • Configure, deploy, manage and document a wide variety of devices and applications running primarily on desktops,  laptops, Blackberries, RSA Remote Access Tokens, and IPC Trading Turrets. 

Requirements: 

  • Direct experience supporting traders and trading systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of  Windows operating systems, MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), and other common business productivity software.
  • Background with LAN technologies and TCP/IP.
  • Solid knowledge of workstation connectivity solutions: wireless networking, broadband solutions, and VPN clients.
  • Solid understanding of the client’s  proprietary IT systems environment and associated tools.
  • Strong customer focus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
