Trade Systems Operations Analyst

Ensure the availability of production Trading System components.  Areas of focus include system monitoring, data management, release and configuration management, and ownership of chronic systems problems. The client is looking for an individual with a combination of technical expertise and electronic trading system support experience to fill a key role on this team.

• Provide enterprise level system monitoring and support for proprietary trading systems.

• Administration and 1st level support of 3rd party platforms (TT, Thomson, Activ, Orc) accounts.

• Provide application and IT Infrastructure support including incident, problem, request, and change management.

• Thoroughly document all incidents for report generation summarizing incidents for trend analysis and root cause determination.

• Deploy, configure, and verify proprietary trading software releases.

• Daily verification and support of dynamic trading market data, prices, and product lists.

Experience:

• Experience working in the financial industry, preferably a trading firm, exchange or trading industry vendor.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Previous experience developing or supporting electronic trading systems.

• Experience using Perl, VBA, PHP, or other scripting language

• Windows and/or Linux based system administration experience.

• Excellent verbal communication and written skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and work experience required.
