UI Applications Developer
Looking for a senior software engineer with 7+ years of strong software development experience within the VC++, MFC, Multi-threaded environment. This individual will be part of a core development group that is responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable, multi-tiered trading applications and infrastructure. This hands-on role will work with traders and developers to design and build real-time trading applications and tools
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and support real-time windows trading applications
- Design, develop, and support UI tools for configuration management, risk management, and application monitoring
- Gather and document user requirements/features
- Define unit and acceptance tests for applications
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Computer programming skills using C++ in a Windows environment
- Working knowledge of TCP protocol and pub/sub middleware
- Experience with Multithreaded programming
- Experience with MFC a plus
- Experience with exchange connectivity a plus
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of operating systems and networks
- Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or its equivalent.
- At least five years hands-on development experience
