VC++ MFC Software Developer

POSITION PURPOSE:This individual will be part of a core development group that is responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable, multi-tiered trading applications and infrastructure. This hands on role will work with traders and developers to design and build real-time trading applications and tools

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and support real-time windows trading applications
Design, develop, and support UI tools for configuration management, risk management, and application monitoring
Gather and document user requirements/features
Define unit and acceptance tests for applications
Stay abreast of advances in technology

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Strong communication and leadership skills
Computer programming skills using C++ in a Windows environment
Working knowledge of TCP protocol and pub/sub middleware
Experience with Multithreaded programming
Experience with MFC a plus
Experience with exchange connectivity a plus
Analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of operating systems and networks
Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or its equivalent.
At least five years hands-on development experience
