Windows Systems Engineer
- Serve as primary technical troubleshooter on complex server hardware and application issues
- Plan, design, install, document and administrate sever applications and hardware
- Support central and remote server performance and availability
- Maintain server security architecture and access control
- Document enterprise server topology and system configurations server maintenance duties (e.g. system log, backup schedules, user accounts, etc.).
- Organize testing, rollout and application of ongoing software patches/upgrades for servers and desktop systems
- Take part in related special projects as determined by business need
- Coordinate with remote staff to help ensure consistency in technical deployment and continuity of service for school-based technologies
- Identify ongoing cost optimization, performance enhancement and growth strategies
- Participate in budget preparation, cost analysis and long-range planning
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
