Windows Systems Engineer

  • Serve as primary technical troubleshooter on complex server hardware and application issues
  • Plan, design, install, document and administrate sever applications and hardware
  • Support central and remote server performance and availability
  • Maintain server security architecture and access control
  • Document enterprise server topology and system configurations server maintenance duties (e.g. system log, backup schedules, user accounts, etc.).
  • Organize testing, rollout and application of ongoing software patches/upgrades for servers and desktop systems
  • Take part in related special projects as determined by business need
  • Coordinate with remote staff to help ensure consistency in technical deployment and continuity of service for school-based technologies
  • Identify ongoing cost optimization, performance enhancement and growth strategies
  • Participate in budget preparation, cost analysis and long-range planning

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
