Windows Systems Engineer

Serve as primary technical troubleshooter on complex server hardware and application issues
Plan, design, install, document and administrate sever applications and hardware
Support central and remote server performance and availability
Maintain server security architecture and access control
Document enterprise server topology and system configurations server maintenance duties (e.g. system log, backup schedules, user accounts, etc.).
Organize testing, rollout and application of ongoing software patches/upgrades for servers and desktop systems
Take part in related special projects as determined by business need
Coordinate with remote staff to help ensure consistency in technical deployment and continuity of service for school-based technologies
Identify ongoing cost optimization, performance enhancement and growth strategies
Participate in budget preparation, cost analysis and long-range planning
